I found myself not able to connect to the Internet using 3G after upgrading using the Lenovo Update tools. The solution was easy:
– Deinstall the driver for the Ericson Modem inside Windows
– Download the new driver from http://support.lenovo.com/de_DE/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS029034
– Finished, it worked for me (but took me hours until I found the solution!!!)
